Cynthia and Andrei met in their second year at Western while taking the same Canadian politics class.

After being friends for over a year, Cynthia decided to take a chance and asked Andrei out. Turns out, Andrei had been harbouring a crush for a few months by that point!

They were long distance for a year while Andrei started law school and Cynthia was working on Parliament Hill. Now they live an hour away from each other in the US, where Andrei is finishing his last year at Columbia Law School and Cynthia is a PhD student at Princeton.

Andrei proposed last summer in New York City, on a boat with a view of the iconic skyline with a ring they chose together in Toronto.

They’re very excited to get married in August and have you there to celebrate with them!
